Lakshadweep Tuna
Island-sourced tuna from Lakshadweep waters, preserved in a deep spice cure — heritage coastal flavour, handcrafted in Bengaluru.
RuchiRoots Lakshadweep Tuna Fish Achaar honours the island tradition of preserving fresh catch in spice and oil — premium tuna chunks cured in a bold masala, then bottled by Suhail PVP in Bengaluru.
The brief
Named for the pristine waters of Lakshadweep, this achaar uses select tuna preserved in cold-pressed mustard oil and a coastal spice blend. Developed under technical guidance from ICAR-CIFT (Central Institute of Fisheries Technology), it brings authentic island flavour to Bengaluru tables.
Best paired with
Appam, pathiri, steamed rice, or chapati. Excellent with coconut-based curries — the tuna achaar adds a punch of umami and heat.
